A Burlington man is dead after being hit by a vehicle.
The 81-year old pedestrian was crossing Maple Avenue mid-block in Burlington when he was struck by a black Honda Civic. The driver remained on the scene and the Halton Police says they are cooperating with the investigation.
The pedestrian was transported to Joseph Brant Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and anyone who witnessed the collision who has not yet spoken to police is asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
