The Halton Region has provided the latest numbers for COVID-19.
Across Halton, we saw an increase of 30 new cases. That brings the total to 1640 cases. Halton has had 1401 recoveries and 27 deaths. That means there are 212 active cases.
In Milton, there have been 389 total cases. That is an increase of five from the previous report. We have had 353 resolved cases and four deaths. That means Milton has 32 active cases.
Of the 30 new cases in Halton, 13 came from Burlington and 11 from Oakville. One case was from Halton Hills.
