Two Toronto youths are facing charges after a carjacking in Oakville.
The incident happened on Friday, October 9th in the area of Marlborough Court.
The two suspects approached a food delivery truck and pulled the driver out of the vehicle.
They attempted to flee the area in the victim’s vehicle but were quickly found and arrested.
A 16 year old male from Toronto has been charged with:
- Robbery;
- Theft of Motor Vehicle;
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
A 17 year old male from Toronto has been charged with:
- Robbery;
- Theft of Motor Vehicle;
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle;
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
One of the youths was in possession of a knife when arrested. The victim was uninjured as a result of this incident.
Both accused were held for bail hearings.
