The Halton Region has released the latest COVID-19 statistics for each municipality.
Across Halton, there have been 1371 total cases. That is a 27-case increase from yesterday, and 72-case increase since Friday’s reported totals. There have been 1179 recoveries and 27 deaths. That is two more deaths than what was reported on Friday. Halton currently has 165 active cases, 14 more than Friday.
In Milton, we have 347 total cases. That is eleven more cases that what was reported yesterday. It’s also 28 more cases that what was reported on Friday. We have had 309 recoveries and four deaths, meaning neither of the two new deaths in Halton were Milton residents. That puts Milton at 34-active cases, eight more than Friday’s count.
