The Halton Regional Police Service has provided the latest list of impaired drivers.
Between Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th, there were eight cases of impaired driving in Halton; five of them involved Milton.
On Saturday, September 19th, at roughly 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Yates Drive and Bolingbroke Drive in Milton. As a result, a 19-year old Milton man was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
A few hours later, at roughly 7:30 a.m., officers responded to another citizen-initiated complaint. This time in the area of James Snow Parkway and Derry Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 46-year old Milton woman was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
That night, just before 10:30 p.m., a 68-year old Oakville woman was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours. Officers had responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of James Snow Parkway and Steeles Avenue in Milton.
Shortly after, just before 11:30 p.m. on the 19th, a 27-year old Milton man was stopped in the area of Main Street East and Ontario Street in Milton. They were charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
The next day, just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 20th, a 39-year old Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours. Officers had responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Fairview Street and Maple Avenue in Burlington.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect someone of driving impaired.
