The Town of Milton has updated its hours.
Starting on Monday, September 28th, Town Hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
This will help residents with Monday-Friday services such as:
- Parking ticket payments;
- Tax payments;
- Transit tickets and passes;
- Regional garbage tags.
The Town says, “Development Services staff will be available to direct inquiries related to applications and permits, as well as Committee of Adjustment, by appointment only.” They will continue to only receive applications electronically.
The Town adds that you can still use online services for various services including property taxes, transit fare, and parking tickets.
Recently, Milton Transit partnered with Token Transit to allow for contactless payment for transit riders. This means customers will be able to purchase a Milton Transit ticket on their phone and have it scanned without touching any surfaces or items. Find more on that here.
Remember, there safety protocols in-place at Town Hall. That includes plexiglass screens at the counter, as well as floor markings and signage to encourage physical distancing. Members of the public are required to wear non-medical masks or face coverings inside Town Hall. Some individuals are exempt.
