Halton’s Regional Council is meeting today.
Items on the agenda include an update to the mandatory mask by-law. The update could include the addition of apartment and condo buildings as public indoor spaces. That means residents may need to wear face coverings when entering and leaving their apartment and condo units. Read the full motion here.
Also on the agenda is a discussion on support programs for local small businesses. The Region will be determining whether or not they will send a letter to the provincial and federal governments. The letter would ask that support programs for small businesses be extended and enhanced. Read up on it here.
