An attempted robbery has ended with an arrest.
The Halton Regional Police Service say that at roughly 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st, a lone male entered the Money Mart and lifted his shirt revealing a handgun in his waistline and demanded cash from the employee.
A panic alarm was activated and the accused fled the scene without any cash. Officers located and arrested the suspect a short distance away. The hand gun was found to be a plastic toy gun.
23-year old Micah Davis of Scarborough has been charged with the following:
- Robbery with a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Davis was held for a bail hearing in Milton.
