A safe socially distance rib fest is coming to Milton over the next five weeks.
The Chosen Few is an outdoor music & rib festival.
The fall series offers seven concerts at the Milton Croatian Park, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, rain or shine.
Jeff Whorley gives you an idea of what to expect.
He says that safety is one of the top priorities.
Whorley says that with restrictions eased it allowed them to plan for the event.
Gates open at 4:15 pm limited to 100 guests per event.
Each site includes pre-set Ribfest meal, one 6-person picnic table, and garbage receptacle.
You can also enjoy three 45-minute band performances while socially distanced in your assigned sections. Bands feature Kenny V, two times Juno nominee performing 80’s rock cover tunes.
Alternating We Ain’t Petty, one of the best Tom Petty cover bands or Driven, a Cars tribute band, and The AC/DC Canada Show.
While entering the event and in between sets, guests will enjoy live DJ entertainment from RJM Sounds.
Tickets are going for $130 for VIP and $110 for a drive-in lawn section.
For those looking for a more cost efficient event, they’ve launched a new lawn-section for only $65 per person, which Includes their Rib Fest meal.
