When Halton moved to Stage Three, the shift opened the doors for weddings to be closer to normal.
Gathering restrictions were lifted to allow for 50 people indoors, and 100 people outdoors.
The Director of Operations for the Milton Banquet & Conference Centre, Una Schieber, says business has picked up.
Schieber adds that there are several protective measures put in place for each person’s safety.
They include mandatory masks indoors and physical distancing.
She says outdoors is a little different because the venue has more space to work with, but masks would still be required when you’re up-close with people outside of your bubble.
Schieber wants people to know that safety protocols are in place for a reason.
If you’re looking for possible wedding venues, Milton Banquet is available for discussions. You can book an appointment and meet with them to see if the venue would be the best fit for your big day, including personal tours of the Centre. You can reach out to them at info@miltonbanquets.com or call them at 905-864-8445.
When discussing what she’d like to see implemented moving forward, Schieber would like us to get to a point where restrictions can start to be lifted to allow for what would be closer to a normal ceremony.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has been ongoing, the Milton Banquet & Conference Centre has adapted to providing food and catering services for customers. That includes takeway orders, as well as a sit-down outdoor patio restaurant. They have a featured prefix menu that Schieber touts as a four-course menu at a more affordable rate.
They even have themed-Sunday events, with each Sunday having a different theme. The last two-weeks were a 70’s/80’s theme, as well as a seaford theme. Schieber says this upcoming Sunday will have a surprise theme.
