The Town of Milton has received funding from the Provincial Government for urgently needed emergency assistance.
Milton will receive funding to address municipal operating pressures related to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the first round of emergency funding under the Safe Restart Agreement.
“As the MPP for Milton, I am proud to announce our government is investing $2.8 million into our community,” said MPP Gill. “This funding will help protect the health and wellbeing of everyone in Milton by continuing to deliver critical public services we all rely on every day,” added MPP Gill.
The federal Safe Restart Agreement provides $19 billion to Canadian provinces and territories to help ensure a strong recovery and support frontline health care, families, and communities.
