New jobs will be coming to Milton thanks to the The Ministry of National Defence in the form of production on the new Armoured Combat Support Vehicles .
The Ministry announced that Milton-based Parker Division Canada has been awarded a subcontract for this procurement.
The total amount going towards the company will be around $3.5 million dollars and support ten local jobs.
These vehicles will come in eight variants, which will provide services such as ambulance, vehicle recovery, engineering, mobile repair, electronic warfare, troop-carrying, and command post.
