
The Province announced that Milton will be getting two new elementary schools in Milton, one for the Catholic and Public boards, as well as a new high school for the Catholic Board.
While that is great news, there is still a need for another school.
Andréa Grebenc, Chair of the Board for the Halton District School Board explains that there is still more work to be done.
She adds that if this plan was approved earlier there would’ve been plenty of savings.
Adding that it feels like lost time at this point.
Overall, the Ontario government is spending $500 million to build 30 schools across the province.
