Helping the neediest in our community.
The Halton Region has received $36,000 from the Canadian Medical Association Foundation.
The money will help homeless residents and vulnerable populations in congregate settings in Halton.
Regional Chair Gary Carr says that this donation will go a long way in helping the neediest in our community.
“The COVID-19 Community Response Fund for Vulnerable Populations will help those most in need by supporting local and community-level action,” says Chair Carr.
The Canadian Medical Association Foundation (CMAF) provides impactful, charitable giving to further excellence in health care, aligning to the Canadian Medical Association’s vision for a healthy population and vibrant medical profession.
