The Halton Police are warning residents of a potential scam.
There are reports of residents that have received calls from people impersonating officers asking for Social Insurance Numbers.
The Halton Police have even received a few calls themselves.
Remember, the Halton Police will never ask you for your SIN.
Do not give important information away.
