
The Halton Regional Police Service has confirmed the dead body found on Tuesday, June 30th died from a gunshot wound.
The victim is a 16-year old male from Brampton.
He was found by a passerby near the intersection Guelph Line and No. 10 Side Road.
The Halton Police say the family will not approve the release of the name.
Investigators have ruled his death to be a homicide and it is being investigated by the HRPS Homicide Unit with assistance from Peel Regional Police.
Investigators are appealing to members of the public for dash cam or home or business surveillance video from the area of Guelph Line north of the 401 to No. 10 Side Road, in Milton between the hours of 8:00PM Monday, June 29 to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30th.
