
A Heat Warning remains in effect in the Halton Region.
Environment Canada warns that it could last through to Sunday.
Here are the highs provided by Environment Canada:
- Maximum temperatures today (Thursday, July 2nd): 32 to 35 degrees Celsius (Humidex 35 to 38);
- Maximum temperatures Friday: 32 to 34 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 40);
- Maximum temperatures Saturday: 32 to 35 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 40);
- Maximum temperatures Sunday: 31 to 35 degrees Celsius (Humidex 37 to 42).
The Town of Milton says Town cooling centres remain closed due to COVID-19. They ask residents to take necessary precautions: limit outdoor activity, wear loose fitted clothing, and stay hydrated.
