A Milton resident is in the hospital following a collision on Friday evening at the intersection of Louis Saint Laurent Avenue and Thompson Road in Milton.
The 21-year old was found in the intersection by emergency services with a serious head injury. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the cyclist, a 20-year old man, remained at the scene and assisted police with the investigation.
The Halton Police says that, “due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed responsibility for the investigation. Initial information would suggest that the vehicle was northbound on Thompson Road and the cyclist was eastbound on Louis Saint Laurent Avenue when the collision occurred.”
