Halton Healthcare recently allowed for people to book appointments to get tested for COVID-19.
We spoke with two Milton residents about what their experience was like at the Milton District Hospital.
Kirsten Schwegler and Sarah Campbell were both asked to get tested by their employer.
They share their thoughts.
The two add that it’s very nerve wracking to be tested.
They say you shouldn’t be scared of getting tested.
Both Schwegler and Campbell tested negative for COVID-19.
They were able to track their results online a few days after being tested.
All bookings for the Halton Healthcare COVID-19 Assessment Centres are received through a central intake phone line dedicated to this purpose.
Residents of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills can call the COVID-19 Hotline at 905-203-7963 to book an appointment.
