The provincial government has released their plans for stage two in reopening businesses and services in the province.
While some regions in the province will be able to enter stage two as of Friday June 12th at 12:01 a.m., the Halton Region is not listed as one of the areas that will be entering this phase.
In a press release from the province, they say these decisions were made based off of trends such as lower rates of transmission, increased capacity in hospitals and progress made in testing.
Province wide the limit on social gatherings will change from five to 10 people as of Friday and all places of worship will be permitted to open with physical distancing in place and attendance limited to no more than 30 per cent of the building capacity to ensure the safety of worshippers.
