The Halton Catholic Education Foundation is holding a 24-hour fasting event from Wednesday, June 3rd to Thursday, June 4th.
They are fasting to support those forced to fast due to poverty.
Over 10% of Halton’s children live in poverty. That adds up to about 3600 students in the Halton Catholic District School Board.
Their fundraising campaign ends on June 30th.
