On Monday, Mayor Gordon Krantz will be declaring May 31st through June 6th AccessAbility week in Milton.
They will be raising their contest winner’s flag at Town Hall.
Earlier this month, the Town asked residents of all ages to decorate a flag that represents inclusion, equality and accessibility in Milton.
The flag design contest is part of the Town of Milton’s commitment to recognize the efforts of members of the community who are actively ensuring persons with disabilities have an equal chance to participate in all aspects of Canadian society.
The Town encourages residents to get involved this week and share how you are celebrating inclusion by using the hashtag, #AccessAbilityMilton and by tagging the Town of Milton in your posts.
