Conservation Halton reminds guests that their parks are separate from conservation reserves and provincial parks and will not be reopening on May 11th.
In a tweet on Saturday night, they reminded the public that they are independently owned and operated without tax revenues.
As a result, the parks will remain closed for the time being.
These parks include Mount Nemo, Crawford Lake, Rattlesnake Point, Hilton Falls, Kelso, Mountsberg and Robert Edmondson.
In their tweet they said “Conservation Halton is looking into a number of options that will allow monitoring volume and opening parks in a safe and responsive way through registered bookings in the coming days. Conservation Halton will be gradually opening parks in a phased approach over the next several weeks.”
