Halton Food for Thought had to cancel their annual Breakfast Bash event, but they have come up with an online solution.
To help raise the much needed funds normally raised at the Breakfast Bash, HFFT is hosting an online auction.
Director of Communications and Development for Halton Food for Thought, Nancy Rumple, has the details.
She says you can access the auction on Facebook.
The money will go towards helping students right now, and in the future as well.
She says that there will be an increasing need for food going forward once the COVID-19 outbreak slows down.
Halton Food for Thought normally feeds over 3.5 million meals and snacks each school year, but are now anticipating that the need will be much greater when/if students return to school in September.
