As we continue with our check in with Milton’s Regional Councillors, we spoke with Councillor for Ward 2, Rick Malboeuf.
He shares that the commentary he’s received from Milton residents has been largely positive as many residents have been practicing social distancing protocols.
He believes how residents have responded (i.e. wearing masks and keeping social distance) is why we’ve had fewer cases in our region than other regions of our population.
Malboeuf says he’s very happy with how Halton has responded to COVID-19.
The Region has made sure their staff were safe by keeping all staff and council members at home and will be following provincial guidelines as we work towards a re-opening.
Malboeuf gives us a bit of an idea as to what that may look like.
He shares a message for residents of Ward 2 and the Region.
