The government is working to introduce the Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance Program for small businesses to help cover rent costs in April, May and June.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says they will share more information about the program as it becomes available.
More help for businesses has been announced by the federal government.
Prime Minister Trudeau says they are expanding the Canada Emergency Business Account to help with any cash flow problems.
Trudeau also says they are working to introduce the emergency commercial rent assistance program to help cover rent costs in April, May and June.
The Prime Minister says they are working with the provinces and territories to make this possible and will share more information about the business rental assistance program as it becomes available.
