A lot of local businesses have been deemed non-essential as of late, including game and hobby shops.
People who enjoy role playing games or board games have had to move online to continue playing.
Local gaming enthusiast Jill McTaggart says the switch has been a hard adjustment.
McTaggart adds that even if restrictions were lifted, she’d still be nervous about playing in large groups post-outbreak.
Moving forward, she feels her board game hobby will have to take a backseat while the world re-adjusts to the new normal.
As it stands there is no set timeline for non-essential businesses to re-open.
