Local businesses are likely to be seriously impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Many small businesses across Milton have been shut down for the time being.
Milton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Scott McCammon, says everyone is co-operating with health and safety recommendations.
McCammon, says even his own employees are out of the office.
He says they will not hold any events this month.
Finally, McCammon, says he’s proud of business owners for being proactive.
As it stands, there have been 12 confirmed positive cases in the Halton Region, two in Milton.
One Milton resident has died. They did have existing medical issues.
