The Halton Catholic District School Board has released a statement following reports of sexual abuse by founder of L’arche, Jean Vanier.
Director of Education, Pat Daly, says that it is too soon to know whether or not they will change the name of Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary school in Milton.
Daly says “there are a number of considerations that will need to be explored and conversations to be held at both the school and board levels.”
Adding that the board will be working with the school to support those who may be impacted by this news.
