Milton residents had a chance to become better equipped with Milton Transit’s Magnus Cards app.
On Saturday afternoon, Milton Transit teamed up with the Milton Public Library for a joint-presentation.
At Town Hall, attendees were able to learn about the app and how it helps those with cognitive disabilities.
They then took a bus to the Library’s Main Branch for another presentation, snacks, and a tour.
Milton Transit’s Krista Short says it was a blast seeing the turnout.
Short adds that the app is versatile and great for anyone.
Regional Councillor for Ward 3, Mike Cluett, was at the Meet Magnus event.
He praised the app for giving people the freedom to travel around town.
More Meet Magnus events are not scheduled just yet, but Short says she imagines more in the coming future.
