Milton Town Council passed a motion on Monday night approving proposed governance changes for Milton Hydro’s board of directors.
Going forward Milton Hydro will be increasing their number of directors from eight to ten directors.
This would result in there being eight members of the public and 2 members of council on the board.
A professional recruiter will be hired to present council with candidates to fill the new positions on the board.
Milton Hydro is hoping to appoint new directors during their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May.
