Two teacher union striking on one day.
That was the case yesterday as the Catholic and Secondary school teachers were out on the picket line.
On Main Street, outside of Parm Gill’s office, teachers were holding signs as cars honked in support.
Branch President of the OSSTF at Craig Kielburger, Scott Nicholson, says that despite the increase in strikes, the support from parents remains high.
Nicholson also says that he is happy to be alongside the Catholic teachers while protesting.
Adrian Rawle, a teacher in Milton, says the impact of some of the proposed cuts won’t be felt until years later.
On Thursday, the Public Elementary School teachers will be out protesting, with a province wide strike.
