The Oakville & Milton Humane Society are always looking for their animals’ forever homes.
Even after the holiday season, there are still plenty of animals available for adoption.
Sadly, Customer Care Manager, Stephanie Aleksich, says they do get returns on Christmas pets.
Aleksich adds that if someone is unsure of the responsibility of a pet, the Oakville & Milton Humane Society will gladly sit them down for a chat.
She says they can run over everything that people can expect when adopting, and even invite them to walk or play with the animals they have.
Aleksich says you can help lighten the load.
