As the Province of Ontario, and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation continue to negotiate some students may have to wait to take the annual EQAO test.
Last week, the Province of Ontario announced that school boards will make local decisions about whether the province-wide EQAO Grade 9 math assessment will take place.
Locally, the Halton District School Board has released a statement saying that they will postpone the assessment until a later date.
While the EQAO test is usually used as a final exam for students, an alternative exam will be used instead.
