The Coldest Night of the Year in Milton for Milton Transitional Housing is on Saturday, February 22nd.
The event’s Walk Director, John Pollard, breaks down the event.
Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. with meet and greets, group pictures, and an opening ceremony that take place shortly after.
Pollard talks about their fundraising goals for this year.
Pollard says each year he is overwhelmed with the support they receive.
Walkers can choose to walk either 2 kms, 5 kms, or 10 kms.
Pollard says they are encouraging people to either start or join a team.
Adding that you can make a donation even if you can’t make it on February 22nd.
Coldest Night of the Year is a national event that 130 communities participate in.
