With a one day strike looming on Wednesday, the Province of Ontario and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation continue to be at odds at the bargaining table.
President of the Bargaining Unit in Halton, Cindy Gage, goes over some of the stumbling blocks in the negotiations.
One of the suggestions that the union has provided was that the Province needs to research to ensure that mandatory e-learning would be successful before implementing it.
Despite the one day strike on Wednesday, Gage still has a message for parents and students as they return to school.
Although a potential strike is happening on Wednesday, January 8th for a select number of schools boards, the Halton District School Board is not one of them.
