
Milton Town Council will be discussing the 2020 budget this evening and tomorrow night.
The Town of Milton will try and adopt a multi-year strategy that aims to benchmark Milton’s residential property tax rate to Burlington and the Town of Halton Hills.
Council’s approval 2020 capital expenditures and revenue worth over $77 million dollars.
That $2,512,813 be authorized to allow for continued construction of Fifth Line from Highway 401 to Derry Road.
Council could be approving a non-union salary range adjustment at a rate of 1.75% starting July 1st, 2020.
The Milton BIA’s expenditures worth $325,511 with a tax levy of $230,633 is looking to be approved.
