Halton Police are asking for the public’s help following a hit and run accident.
Just after 9:00 a.m. yesterday, a black four-door Mercedes failed to stop at a stop-sign at Elsworthy Crossing. It narrowly missed a school bus that had the right-of-way. The Mercedes then continued onto the sidewalk, where it hit a tree and then a parked car.
The driver fled the scene and was least seen travelling south on Trudeau Drive.
The incident was captured by a residential security camera with images shared like the one above.
Police say the Mercedes will have damage on its front left corner.
