The Halton Police have charged a Milton woman for stealing 3 Royal Canadian Legion poppy donation boxes in Burlington.
On November 11th, during the moment of silence, the accused stole the first box from a grocery store on New Street.
She then stole two boxes the next day from a coffee shop on Brant Street.
The Halton Police arrested the 32 year old Milton woman on November 15th.
She has been charged with 3 counts of theft under $5000.
The accused has been released from custody on a promise to appear.
