Yesterday, Members of the Milton Legion attended the Evergreen Ceremony to honour Remembrance Day.
During the ceremony, there was a reciting of Flanders Fields in both English and French, as well as honouring those who lost their lives in 2019.
One of those who were in attendance was Veteran Cliff Connor. He spoke on what Remembrance Day means to him.

Last week, the Provincial government unveiled the design for the Memorial to Honour Canadian Heroes of the War in Afghanistan
The Provincial government also announced that they will be providing Veterans free weekday day-use entry to Ontario Parks for veterans residing in Ontario and active members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
