Halton Police have charged a London woman after a drug deal went wrong.
34-year old Krystle Dickson is alleged to have trafficked a controlled substance while in a Milton courthouse jail cell.
On Monday, November 4th, Dickson’s cellmate was transported to a local hospital after an apparent fentanyl overdose.
The woman was saved after being administered naloxone.
An investigation led police to Dickson.
It’s believed by Halton Police that Dickson hid the substance on her person while being arrested.
She then trafficked the fentanyl to her cellmate, leading to her overdose.
Dickson remains in police custody.
She had been previously arrested a day prior for charges including possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to comply with conditions of undertaking.
