The federal election is fast approaching and we spoke with the Milton Chamber of Commerce about Milton’s candidates.
President of the MCOC, Scott McCammon, talks about what he hopes to see during this election.
McCammon says issues he feels Milton residents are most concerned about are jobs, fair taxation, and transportation.
He tells us what makes a great candidate.
What’s the importance of having a voice in Ottawa standing up for Milton? McCammon answers.
The Milton Chamber of Commerce doesn’t endorse any of the candidates.
However, they do encourage residents to get out and vote.
The MCOC is hosting a Federal Candidate Forum on Tuesday evening next week at Granite Ridge.
It’s free to attend but advance registration is required.
The federal election is on October 21st.
