The Provincial government has put a focus on seniors.
Milton’s MPP Parm Gill announced last week that a local not for profit seniors group will be receiving a Seniors Community Grant.
Halton Gujarati Seniors Samaj has received $4000 from the Ontario government.
In a statement, Gill says they are working hard to protect what matters most to seniors and their families.
“I am pleased to announce Halton Gujarti Seniors Samaj as recipients of a $4,000 grant through our government’s Seniors Community Grant,” says MPP Gill. “Our government is working hard to protect what matters most to seniors and their families, and this funding will go a long way in improving the well-being of seniors not just in Milton, but in all communities across Ontario.”
In total, $3 million will be given to 260 programs across the province with Seniors Community Grant.
