Halton Police have released the numbers from their ‘Project Stop on Red’ campaign.
In a two-week period in August, officers focused on catching red light runners around the region.
They set-up officers in what were deemed as high-risk areas.
In total, 92 drivers were charged with Failure to Stop for a Red Light.
There were five Milton intersections involved in the project:
- Derry Road and Commercial Street/Santa Maria Blvd.
- Derry Road and James Snow Parkway.
- Derry Road and Ontario Street.
- Derry Road and Savoline Blvd.
- Derry Road and Trafalgar Rd.
Halton Police say they encourage members of the public to report bad driving behaviours.
