The Mayor’s Golf Tournament for United Way Halton & Hamilton was another sold out event on Friday September 6th.
This year was the event’s 19th run at Granite Ridge.
Co-chair of the event, Hal Watson talks about how the event has grown.
President and CEO of United Way Halton & Hamilton, Brad Park, talks about where the money is going.
Park talks about how the event has grown from raising $15,000 in its start to over $175,000 annually if not more.
The tournament’s co-chair Hal Watson, adds that he believes that the event wouldn’t be what it has become without Mayor Gordon Krantz.
