Halton Police have launched ‘Project Stop on Red’.
During the first two weeks of August, officers patrolling North Halton will be targeting intersection related offences.
Officers will be stationed at intersections with higher collision rates.
They say the aim for the Project is to protect the more vulnerable road users from drivers failing to stop at red lights.
These users include pedestrians and cyclists.

Town of Milton:
– Derry Road and Commercial Street/Santa Maria Blvd
– Derry Road and James Snow Parkway
– Derry Road and Ontario Street
– Derry Road and Savoline Blvd
– Derry Road and Trafalgar Rd
Town of Halton Hills:
– 10 Side Road and Eighth Line
– 10 Side Road and Ninth Line
– Trafalgar Road and 5 Side Road
