The Ontario Chamber of Commerce, along with Milton, have released a report on the distribution of alcohol.
Titled, ‘Refreshing the Sale of Beverage Alcohol in Ontario’, it outlines how the Province could modernize the sale and distribution.
President & CEO of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, Scott McCammon, says there’s too many geographical restrictions with alcohol.
McCammon adds that he finds it strange that a local brewery can’t sell wine at a Farmers’ Market, if they chose to do so.
He add’s that he doesn’t like the amount of red tape around alcohol distribution.
He brings the current restrictions down to a local level.
But he knows the regulations will remain until further change is done.
McCammon says that the regulations need to catch up to 2019.
