A new Milton subdivision has been approved by Town Council.
The neighbourhood, known as Milton West, will be located along Tremaine Road, near the Milton Velodrome.
Regional Councillor for Ward 4, Zeeshan Hamid, says he was happy to see more entry-level homes coming to the area.
Councillor Hamid adds that some residents might not like the idea of more housing coming to Milton.
However, he says that Council must look at the prospect of adding more affordable housing with this neighbourhood.
Councillor Hamid, says people worrying about the infrastructure of Milton need to take a step back.
As it stands, Halton’s housing market average sits consistently around the $750,000 mark.
