Milton MPP Parm Gill has a new position within the Provincial Government.
The Conservative member of Provincial Parliament was named Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
MPP Gill says he plans on working locally with stakeholders to solve the region and the Town of Milton problems.
He continues on, saying one of the areas of emphasis for his new position will be affordable housing.
Adding on to housing, Gill says he wants to address the issue of younger people affording housing.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing works with municipal partners and community stakeholders to promote and support local governments to plan, manage and invest in their communities’ futures.
