A section of Barrie Street in Bradford West Gwillimbury is temporarily closed to allow for culvert replacement work.
The closure will affect Barrie Street between Line 8 and the Barrie Street Plaza entrance. The work is expected to take about two weeks, weather permitting.
The plaza at 305 Barrie Street will remain open and accessible through the south entrance on Barrie Street and the north entrance from Line 8.
There may be periods when one or two lanes are opened to traffic as needed. However, this cannot be guaranteed, as traffic conditions and worker safety will determine when it is possible.
Traffic control measures, signage and detours will be in place as required. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signs and allow extra travel time when travelling through the area.
Residents and businesses affected by each stage of construction will receive further notices as work progresses, including updates about access, driveway impacts and other temporary disruptions.
